Privacy Policy for Flash Alerts 2

Effective date: June 10, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how MegaWave ("we", "us", or "our") handles information in connection with the Flash Alerts 2 mobile application (the "App"), available for Android. By installing or using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Notification Access (Notification Listener)

To detect when you receive a new notification (for example, a message or call notification) and trigger a flash/torch alert, the App requests Notification Access permission. When this permission is granted, the App reads only the following technical information about a posted notification:

The App does not read, store, or transmit the title, body text, images, or any other content of your notifications. This information is processed entirely on your device and is used only to decide whether to trigger the flash alert. It is never sent to us or to any third party.

1.2 Phone Call State

The App uses the READ_PHONE_STATE permission solely to detect when your device is ringing, so it can trigger a flash alert for incoming calls. The App does not read, collect, or store your phone number, call history, or caller identity.

1.3 Camera and Flashlight

The App uses the Camera and Flashlight permissions only to control your device's torch/flash hardware in order to produce the visual flash alert. The App does not capture, record, store, or transmit any photos, video, or camera images.

1.4 Information Stored Locally on Your Device

The App stores the following data locally on your device only. This information is never transmitted to us:

If Android's automatic backup feature is enabled on your device, this locally stored settings data may be included in your device's standard Android backup to your Google account, in accordance with Google's own backup and privacy practices.

1.5 Information Collected Automatically by Third-Party Services

The App uses third-party services (described in Section 3 below) that may automatically collect certain information, such as:

This information is collected and processed by the third-party providers listed below, in accordance with their own privacy policies.

2. How We Use Information

3. Third-Party Services

3.2 Firebase Analytics

The App uses Google Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous usage and diagnostic information that helps us understand how the App is used and identify issues.
